Haven, located 3km from Townsville’s CBD provides access to an urban lifestyle and huge array of options unique to its location including major retail centres and home to a range of services and community facilities.
Appointed as Principal Contractor, Hansen Constructions NQ delivered Stage 2 (24 lots) of civil and landscaping subdivisional works including soil erosion and sediment control, bulk earthworks, roadworks, stormwater drainage, water and sewer reticulation, street light pole footings and installation of conduits for electrical and telecommunications. The scope of works included the development and implementation of a Vegetation Protection Plan to protect the wilderness corridor connecting to Mundy Creek. With Mundy Creek a direct tributary to Cleveland Bay and the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park Area, ensuring that the highest adherence to this plan and soil erosion and sediment control by Hansen Constructions NQ’s team during the course of the project was essential to the success of this project.
